Patrick Smith of Salon.com’s Ask the Pilot goes on a hilarious rant today about some of world’s most god-awful airports, and publishes reader reviews of air-travel hubs around the planet.
Near the top of the list: Singapore’s Changi (SIN), Vancouver B.C. (YVR), and Madison, Wis. (MSN) – I can attest that the latter is quite awesome (clean, no crowds, and microbrews on tap).
And some of the worst? Dakar, Senegal (DKR), Cairo (CAI), and Chicago’s finest, O’hare (ORD) – I can also verify that the latter of this list is, indeed, quite terrible (consistent delays, random gate changes, and $8 pints of Sam Adams).
